We process data to run the Site securely, to publish and moderate comments, to send updates you have asked for, and to reply to your messages. We do this in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interest in running the Site, or the need to respond to your request. Visitors from the European Economic Area also enjoy the rights set out in the GDPR.

5. Who receives the data

Data may be processed by technical service providers acting on our behalf: our hosting provider (servers located in the European Union), the network and security provider Cloudflare, Inc., and our e-mail provider.

Some providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Transfers take place under contractual safeguards that meet the requirements of the applicable law.

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, until you object or withdraw consent. Comments are kept for as long as they remain published on the Site. Subscription addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
